Description
Our 24 month Hybrid Upgraded Warranty supports hybrid ownership with clear terms and straightforward claims, from £749. It helps make unexpected repair costs more predictable, with nationwide repair options and support designed around hybrid cars.
When your cover starts
All of our upgraded warranties start on the day your manufacturer warranty expires. If your manufacturer warranty has already expired, your cover starts from the day you purchase the policy, and our team will confirm the exact start date for your car.
Why upgraded hybrid cover helps
Modern hybrid cars combine a combustion engine, electric motor and software controlled systems. If an eligible mechanical or electrical problem occurs, upgraded cover provides reassurance and a clear route to approved repairs.
What is covered
Your cover protects against mechanical and electrical breakdown during the policy term, including failure due to wear and tear, subject to the policy terms. Your policy explains the hybrid components included, any exclusions and the limits that apply.
Benefits you can rely on
Benefits include £0 excess on approved claims, UK breakdown support 24 hours a day, and repairs at our stores or any suitable VAT registered UK garage. There is no limit to the number of eligible claims during the policy term, with claims permitted up to the car’s value at purchase.
How claims work
Contact us before any work starts, and we will guide you through the claim and authorise eligible repairs. Repairs can be completed at one of our stores or at a suitable VAT registered UK garage, with work carried out by a hybrid trained mechanic. Approved claims cover parts and labour as described in your policy, and our team will help keep the process quick and easy from start to finish.
Eligibility and servicing
This upgraded warranty is only available for cars bought from CarSupermarket.com. It is not available for customised or modified cars, motorcycles, scooters, 3 wheeled vehicles, kit cars, quad bikes, motorhomes, light commercial cars, delivery cars, panel vans or cars exceeding 3,500kg. Follow the manufacturer’s servicing requirements for both the engine and hybrid systems, keep software and calibration updates current, and maintain records of servicing, maintenance and any required hybrid checks.
Helpful example costs
Potential repair examples include a turbo at around £1,749, a clutch at around £599, a flywheel at around £1,099, or an ECU at around £1,799. Actual costs vary depending on the car, component, garage and work required. Some of these repairs could cost more than the 2 Year Hybrid Upgraded Warranty, available from £749.
